Breck Jacobs
Breck Jacobs was born and raised in the small farm town of Grace, Idaho. She grew up feeding cows daily and working in potato harvest, which taught her the value of hard work. She moved to Utah to attend college and graduated from the University of Utah with her B.S. in Mathematics with an emphasis on statistics and economics.
She went on to pass two actuarial certification exams including Probability and Financial Mathematics. After working in the financial industry for several years, she eventually opened her own financial firm, Future Focus Financial. This transition was motivated because she felt the typical advisor rarely offered investors solutions that were individualized and well rounded. They often get pigeon-holed doing the same thing for every client, regardless of age or situation – which could have devastating effects on portfolios. Breck knew investors deserved better and she felt passionate about helping.
Her primary focus centers around three things:
- Safety First – Developing a plan that protects your principal.
- Reasonable Rate of Return – Avoiding relying solely on the stock market.
- Simplicity – Creating plans with fewer moving parts that are wisely chosen and easy to understand.
This approach challenges the status quo of traditional planning, which is based on the risk reward myth that says if you want big rewards, you must be willing to take big risks. For over a decade, she has helped clients discover how they can build a plan that works under all conditions, where stability is never sacrificed.
Breck currently lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, Brian, and their four-legged fur baby, Ruby. She loves to travel and is obsessed with all things Harry Potter, Disney, and Star Wars- a true nerd at heart.
Meet The Team
Keeler Jensen
Director of Client Services
Keeler works as the Director of Client Services, bringing 8 years of customer service experience to the Future Focus Financial team. Whether she’s helping a client with establishing their new account or making changes to their existing account, Keeler ensures business is done smoothly and accurately with an emphasis on client communication. She appreciates the firm’s value for integrity and believes it is important to put the client first.
Keeler currently resides in Salt Lake City and loves everything Utah has to offer. She enjoys camping and sailing in Bear Lake throughout the summer and skiing in the winter. Traveling is a passion of hers, and scuba diving is one of her favorite ways to explore international destinations.

Claire Kohler
Director of Marketing
Claire joined Future Focus Financial in August 2024. She will likely be the first team member that you are in contact with, as she manages the company calendar. She also coordinates educational seminars for both prospective and current clients. She is in correspondence with active clients and new business prospects, while making sure everyone’s needs are taken care of. Claire enjoys meeting new people and helping to welcome them into our client family.
Claire thrives while hiking, camping and gardening in the summer months. During the winter, she spends her time in the mountains snowboarding. Claire loves spending time immersed in nature and appreciates all the National Parks that Utah has to offer. She also manages a small sewing business where she upcycles clothing.

Giving Back to Our Community
Not everyone is as fortunate as we are. Because of this, Future Focus Financial believes in the importance of giving back to our community. We do this through charity events, client events that double as fundraisers, and more. We partner with a number of amazing charities in order to do so, and we keep these partnerships active.
